Episode 8 was released on Wed. May 20, 2020 and it a great episode. The story is really starting to pick up. This episode really features Khun's abilities as a light bearer and strategist as well as his dedication to his friends that he's made along the way. It's really great to see his character development considering he started of with trusting little to few people. It was also great to see how much faith Gator has in his little turtles and knows that blue turtle always has a plan. I love their team.
The Webtoon obviously explains Khun's plan in much richer and fuller detail but thus far I'm pretty impressed and happy with how this episode turned out. I'm excited to see how the next episode and end of the test turns out. The music is amazing but I do wish the ending song had some animation rather than just Rachael lying in the grass all dirty with her hair blowing. I did wish that we would have been able to see Bam's abilities as a wave controller develop more during his training stage but I'm sure the end result of his training will be amazing to watch. Episode 2 was also dubbed this week. I was really happy about how instead of using Yoru, meaning night, which is the Japanese translation for the male lead's name, they went back to Bam which is much closer to its original source material. When I first heard Lero Ro's voice, it caught me by surprise. It was a lot deeper than I expected him to be. Lero Ro is played by Trent Mills in the dub and Kenjiro Tsuda in sub. He's still doing an awesome job though.
