I'm not sure if you're as excited about watching this series as I am but I am so stoked that they are turning this beautiful Korean Webtoon Story by Siu into an all out anime. This is one of my favourite anime's airing this season, especially with Covid 19 putting many releases on hold. So far as of this post, the first 7 episodes are out on Crunchyroll and I'm so stoked as to see what comes next. (Spoiler) It was really nice to learn a bit about Anak's backstory and really shows off Khun's intelligence, and Baam's gentle nature for helping others. In the future I will be reviewing episodes more on a weekly basis.
Synopsis:
The Tower is a mysterious place. If you can reach the top of the tower, you greatest wishes will be granted. Only those chosen by the tower are worthy to climb it, that is if you can pass each floor's test.Tower of God is a story that centers around a boy named Twenty-Fifth Baam, who has spent most of his life trapped beneath a vast and mysterious Tower, with only his close friend, Rachel, to keep him company. When Rachel enters the Tower seeking to see the stars, Baam desperately tries to chase after her, entering into the Tower.
The story is originally Korean but is being translated into Japanese. It is directed by Takashi Sano and Hirokazu Hanai and produced by Telecom Animation, Aniplex, and Sola Entertainment. Music op is performed by Stray Kids kpop group. The series is expected to run for 13 episodes so be ready to expect more action to come.

Personal Thoughts (Spoiler Alert): I am really enjoying the series so far. I have also started reading the Webtoon. I'd highly recommend reading it if you want a fuller experience since sometimes the anime glosses over some details such as Khun's strategy during the crown game. But the anime is doing a pretty fantastic job so far in following its original material source and keeping a good pace for watchers to follow. Khun and Hatz are by far my favourite characters with Crocodile or Gator following closely behind. I love how he calls everyone turtles. I'm currently into Season 2, Episode 113 of the Webtoon (spoiler alert) which is where Viole just escaped with the new weapon. The team was shortly just reunited but must now go their separate ways to ride the Train of Hell up the tower.
